Bored while waiting for Godot.
Leave it to me to wish myself a happy birthday a day late. For reasons I won’t go into, I was a little more introspective this year than last - so without going into any histrionics, I’ll just allow Tom Waits, whose birthday was last Friday, to sum up my feelings on getting another year older.
This week, I’ve had my fill of Republican insanity - the maniacal conservative break-down that occurred on I’m Not One to Blog would have sufficed.
Yet, here’s a clip that sums so many things about what’s wrong with our media, our political discourse, and education system. First, you have Whoopi Goldberg on The View - The View, of course, is to intellectual discussion what McDonald’s is to fine dining. Mix in a discussion on evolution with the religious views of Sherri Shepherd and the political views of Republican “Survivor” Elisabeth “Would You Like Fries With That” Hasselbeck, and hilarity ensues. And by hilarity, I mean the destruction of all humanity.
Spoiler: They discuss whether or not the Earth is flat. I am not joking.
