A few photos from our trip to Rosarito, Mexico.

Jennifer and I stayed at the Rosarito Beach Resort, right on the beach, and also near most of the shops, bars and night clubs. The hotel itself, however, had plenty to do - including a full service spa, in which I received a Swedish Massage, and Jennifer a full body seaweed wrap. We also did some horseback riding, which proved to be - painful.

The view from our room, which they upgraded to an ocean view. The surf was surprisingly good, which was largely due to a decent southern swell that hit most of Baja and SoCal. We didn’t bring our boards - and surfing would have been more work than I was prepared to do.

Jennifer drinking some kind of cocktail out of a coconut. Honestly, I have no idea what’s in it - the bartender rattled off about seven different types of liquids when I cut him off and said, “Give me two.” It’s served in a real coconut, and that’s all that really matters.

We’re not tourists at all. Nope, not one bit.
Anyway, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. We didn’t get sick at all - at least from the things everyone warns you about (”Por favor, no necesitamos mas tequila “).
We did notice a few things, like the morning “2 for 1 margarita specials” at some of the eateries is more of a “2 drink minimum”. As it turns out, it is two for one for $6, when most margaritas usually go for $3. Very crafty.
And lastly, you should really avoid eating at any place with the words “Rock and Roll” and “Taco” in the name, unless you enjoy grease. Really, really enjoy grease. “Really” as in, “there’s more grease on my plate than food” enjoy grease.
Other than that, the food was great, the people were friendly, and the trip was relaxing.
